Kingston University (KU) is housed on four separate campuses close to the center of the Royal Borough of Kingston in Greater London. All campuses are within easy reach of one another and are connected by a regular free bus service.
The main campus on Penrhyn Road is a 25 minute train ride from the center of London with convenient connections to the rest of the United Kingdom and Europe. Kingston’s location offers the peace and security of living outside the London city center as well as attractive green areas and easy access to the beautiful countryside.
The proximity of London as well as the easy accessibility of Kew Gardens, Wimbledon, Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Park, and Windsor makes Kingston an excellent place to live and study.

Kingston University in London
Kingston University is well recognized for the strength of the academic departments, the quality of instruction, and the proximity to London. The University is located in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, which is an affluent and attractive suburb to the west of London. With about 19,000 students, it is the largest provider of higher education in southwest London.

Students pick three or four courses, called Modules, from six of the Faculties at the University.

Most students take the course "British Life and Culture." Designed to provide an understanding and appreciation of contemporary culture and society, the course combines lectures and excursions and tours led by Kingston faculty.
Lectures are given on various aspects of British life, culture and history followed by guided field-trips to places of special interest including Brighton, Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, a London theatre show, and the Houses of Parliament.

CCIS students have the option of living in a residence hall or lodging in a private residence for the semester or two at Kingston University. Housing is assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Students living the in the residence halls will pay Kingston University directly for the accommodation fees.

Students must plan to depart after the last day of exams as they can be scheduled any time during the final exam period and will not be set until after the semester has started.

Costs Included: tuition, fees, CISI insurance, arrival airport shuttle, welcome trip to Tower of London or Brighton, arrival reception and end-of-term party
Costs Not Included: room and board (costs approximately 145 pounds per week for residence hall with no meal plan), food, books (estimate of 70 pounds per term), laundry, personal expenses, local transportation
