Upload a copy of your passport to the online application. Don’t have one yet? Apply right away! Passport applications can be found online and are usually submitted in-person at a local location.
Make sure your study abroad advisor knows you're applying. Double check application deadlines and eligibility on the program page. Then, head to https://ccisabroad.via-trm.com and begin the application process
Once your personal information, essay, recommendations, and transcript are complete, you can submit! If you don’t have a passport, you can still submit the application.
Don’t delay! Using the online application system, request two letters of recommendation. Upload an official copy of your transcript online. Your application isn’t complete without them.
During the second phase of the application process, you may be required to submit additional supplemental materials. The information and forms you will need will be communicated to you through the online application system. At this point in the application you will be working more closely with the program sponsor and international host institution.
Your application is being reviewed by the program sponsor and by the host institution abroad. This step could take only a few days or a few weeks. To speed up the process, make sure all your supplemental and supporting application materials are submitted right away.
There are many things you can do to better prepare for your time abroad while you wait for your acceptance. Have you researched student visa requirements in the host country? Have you researched and applied for scholarships? This is a great time to prepare for next steps once you receive your acceptance!
You will be notified of your acceptance by the program sponsor or your study abroad advisor. Make sure to share a copy of your acceptance with your study abroad advisor if it comes straight to you.
Now that you have your acceptance, you will receive detailed information regarding travel arrangements, orientation, housing, course selection, and other important details. Take some time to meet with your study abroad advisor to learn next steps at your home campus.
