CCIS Faculty-Led & Custom Programs

The CCIS consortium has created two options for Members to develop Faculty-Led and Custom Programs: 1) you can work directly with a CCIS Host institution to design your program or 2) you can work with the CCIS Host Partner Organization, Study Abroad Association (SAA). From on-site to virtual program options, working with a CCIS Host or SAA, you can be sure your academic goals and programmatic needs will be met in a high-quality, affordable fashion.

In line with our mission, these group program options will allow more students access and opportunity to high-quality educational experiences abroad, regardless of background, major, or socio-economic status.

Additionally, offering both options to CCIS Members allows us to provide the greatest level of flexibility, so whatever program you envision, we can help you achieve it!

Benefits of Working through the CCIS Consortium

Create accessible and affordable faculty-led and custom programs designed for the needs of your institution and students.

Created by You

Design your program the way you want it, when you want it, with the options that are of most importance to you and your students.

Affordable

As your institution retains tuition, faculty-led and custom programs are often cheaper than traditional study abroad programs, while often allowing students to still use their financial aid.

Diverse Services

From housing and excursions to guest lectures and volunteer opportunities, we can help design a program from scratch or provide the specific service you require.

Extensive Network

Enhance your program plans by tapping into our vast international network with its numerous resources, local experts, and academic expertise.

Flexible Support

Whether you’ve led many programs abroad or this is your first time, our administrative and on-site support options are flexible to meet your needs.

High-Quality

CCIS Hosts and SAA provide high-quality academic and intercultural experiences, in a wide range of academic subjects, to enhance your curriculum to meet the learning objectives of your program.
