Program Overview

Known as the 'city of sails,' Auckland is an excellent location to study for city and ocean lovers. New Zealand's largest cosmopolitan city, Auckland is an urban environment within close proximity of beautiful beaches, hiking trails and several stunning holiday islands. It offers a sub-tropical climate and fosters a passion for outstanding culinary delights, good wine and shopping.

Academics & Program

Based on the North Shore of Auckland, the Massey University Albany campus with 7,000 students was established more than 15 years ago in one of the North Shore's fastest growing areas. The campus offers modern, Spanish-architectural styled buildings with friendly students and staff, state-of-the-art facilities, and a unique atmosphere highly conducive to study. Downtown Auckland is a short ride across the Auckland harbor bridge.

Academic Highlights 

Massey Auckland offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs with more than 70 majors. Teaching is interactive, progressive, and research led. The Auckland campus offers a performing arts theatre, a trading room for finance students, a high-technology business incubator, and much more.

The Albany campus in Auckland has a vibrant student life, with regular social acitivities organized by the Albany Student Association, and many other events organized by international and cultural clubs. Student associations and societies offer university students at Massey:

Costs Included

The program fee includes tuition & instructional fees, CCIS and sponsor fees, CISI health insurance, New Zealand student health insurance, and the national Student Services Levy.

Costs Not Included

Estimated costs include passport, airfare, room and board, books (estimate of 500 NZD per term), laundry, local transportation, and personal expenses.

*Note: A non-refundable program deposit of $800 is due upon acceptance and is applied toward the total cost of the program.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested students should have at least sophomore standing and a GPA of 2.8 based on a 4.0 scale or higher, in addition to transcripts and two letters of recommendation.
