"I think my time in Spain was something that I will never forget! I absolutely loved the atmosphere and that I had the chance to live in a different country and experience something other than America. Sevilla really made strides in my Spanish. I learned new things and got clarification of other things. I loved how I was in an area where I was forced to speak Spanish rather than go back and forth by asking questions in English. Not only did my Spanish improve, but my ability to be independent. At first it was hard to be so far away from my family, but after the first week I became a new person.
"I had the time of my life in Sevilla. My house mother was the sweetest woman and she was a huge part in making my experience awesome. I still miss her every day, just as I miss Sevilla. The city was big, but a cozy big. It had so much culture, which we learned especially through the Friday city and museum visits. I think study abroad should be mandatory for college students. No one knows how good it is going to be until they go. My life is extraordinarily better because of my semester in Sevilla."
